- No wheels – Wheels are great, but not on a tennis court. Bikes, skates, and skateboards can damage your court’s surface.
- Snack away – Snack away. Away from the court. Stay hydrated with plenty of water, but save other drinks and food for another part of the property.
- Move carefully – If you have equipment or furniture on the court, move it carefully. Carry items instead of dragging them. Use protective pads under chair or table legs to protect against surface damage.
- Choose tools well – If you do some court cleaning yourself, use soft bristles, and skip harsh cleansers.
- Keep surroundings clean – Make sure to keep the area around your court clean to prevent dirt and debris from transferring to your court and causing damage.
- Don’t be harsh – Whether cleaning or caring for landscaping, avoid harsh chemicals, fertilizers, and insect repellents. Your court is tough, but chemicals can damage the surface.
